Hi Guys, I have a weird one. December 10th 2018 Inland applicant., I just got a message from CIC requesting for a police clearance certificate. The weird thing is I already submitted one as part of my application.

I think there is some confusion around the AOR and linking. The AOR is an acknowledgement email sent out after CIC has received your application AND entered it into their system. That being said if you are able to link your application, and haven't received you AOR , I wouldn't worry as it is...

Update: Application Sent: 07-Dec-2018 Application Received: 10-Dec-2018 AOR Received: 05-Feb-2019 Application Linked: 05-Feb-2019 (Used applicants information not sponsors and entered information in capitals)

Application received 12th Dec 2018 No AOR yet. Most likely AOR will be second week Feb, based on other threads

Hi Everyone, Best wishes for the holiday season. December 2018 applicant here, submitted application by mail on Dec 7th, still waiting for it to get to the CIC (delays due to Canada post). I believe the next step is waiting for the AOR which takes 6-8weeks from what I've been reading here Thanks
