Received both my passport and certificate this morning. Finally the journey has come to an end o_O Best of luck to everyone!

I called the Passport office today and got my tracking number. Apparently it only has my passport in it, and my certificate will be mailed out later according to the agent I talked to. Anyways, checking the tracking number, it was processed yesterday and arrived in Richmond this morning.

Yeah she was basically saying there is still 2 weeks left to honour the processing time of 20 business days.

I called them and was told my application has been approved and it is now in production. The representative made it sound like it could take up to two weeks to be printed and mailed out.

It's for myself only. Since yours is a family application, I think it makes sense that it could take a few more days.

I sent a web form thinking I would get a reply next week with tracking information and stuff. They actually replied a few hours after I sent it saying my application is in process lol I am going to ping them again mid next week. Did you?

Yup, I sent it last Friday evening, so it only got processed on the Monday morning. On top of that it had to get to Richmond first, so essentially our applications were delivered the same day haha

Passport application delivered on April 15. Hoping to be a quick process.

I had to wait about 3 months after I took my test on January 4 to get invited to my oath ceremony. I am not entirely sure about the 3-month period being for pre-covid only, but my timeline closely followed it. Please see my signature for full timeline.

If you mean the QR code at the top right corner of the application page 1, it generates as you fill out your application with all the necessary information. Though, in my case, once I save the file when partially filled out and open it up again, the extended features like fillables weren't...

If you check https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/citizenship-ceremony.html, the invitiation to the oath ceremony can take up to 3 months. My timeline closely follwed it. With that said, you may be getting invitied to one...

For anyone, preferably from BC, who recently had their oath ceremony, how long was the wait to receive your certificate? The email indicates that it will take up to 4-6 weeks, but earlier this year, people seemed to received theirs in a week or so.
