Hello all, I have a question. can I apply for Surrendering passport and OCI at same time?

Good morning, So I took oath on Friday and today my ECAS Says "Complete". I will go tomorrow to apply for my passport. Thank you all for your help and Good luck to all who are still waiting. The whole process took 13 months and 8 days.

Hi all, I had my oath today at Mississauga office. It was a wonderful experience. Whole ceremony took 2 hours . I got there at 9 and was out at 11. 112 candidates took oath including me. Thank you all for all your help and answering my questions.

Did you get it done the same day? Like I have to fly on Sat. Should i go in on Wed or Thu?

Yea I also have worked on my application and just need to update that after oath. I think going on wed would save me from Panic attack I might get on Friday lollll. I am flying on saturday eraly morning so. Please let us know how it goes on Tuesday ?

What do they change the online status to? Yes now I am also rethinking to do it on Wed.. I will apply for 10 years

Yea I was planning to that on Thursday, now I am thinking may be Wednesday to be on safer side.

Yeah I have been reading book and taking online practice tests.. I am not very good at memorizing history stuff like years and stuff so that make me pretty nervous.. Thank you for your reply :)
