It took 8 It took 8months. However, there is a new policy to speed up/grant applications with dual intent. So it's 'now' much easier to get it and timeline is between 4 to 12weeks, depending on your home country. I also believe there is a portal for it now. Give it a go, why not.

It took almost 8months to process. I followed the guidelines suggested by YouTubers who were able to get theirs done as well...to the letter .. 'Hit Submit & Canada' and 'HelpingAll' pages. I believe it is better to try again for a TRV now, under Dual intent. The chances of getting approved...

Current situation: Presently in Canada on a visiting visa. So reunited temporarily with family. However, PR application in Accra already got to medical and biometrics stage, all done in June 2023. There has been no correspondence since then. Applying for open work permit tomorrow...

Same boat. Documents sent to Accra 2021. Heard from Accra this month June,2023 though. Request for Biometrics and Medicals, two separate emails on the same day. Both done, application updated as Medical Received. Now waiting for the next step.

Accra Ghana checking in, applied 15months ago......... nothing yet. PA put in for travel Documents inland, 7weeks ago..... nothing yet. Dependent put in for a TRV 5 weeks ago...... nothing yet. Wish us all the luck, it's been 3yrs 8months since the journey started.

It's been a year spouse's Application was submitted to Accra office and we have sent in two webforms asking for any information on the application. Replies have been to wait as we would be contacted if there is any need. Is this still within recent processing time for Accra and if not, what...

Naturally, that would have been included in the communication to the Main applicant. I have come across some people saying this bit of information is missing from their eligibility letters. If that same for you, call IRCC asap to find out where.

That is the initial application. The first one sent with that of the main applicant. The overseas dependent still needs to send a new application. The earlier the better.
