For those of you who recently got your passport, did they contact your guarantor? I'm waiting for my passport and I don't know if the fact that they haven't called my guarantor means it's not even issued yet.

The email is sent closer to the day of the ceremony. You should expect it sometime in late October (people usually get it around 2 weeks before the ceremony)

I don't think you can take the oath from outside the country.

I think they send the email ~10 days before the ceremony so you should get it soon

I think the invitation did say you should have it but they did not ask for mine during the ceremony

I don't think you can specify, you can just ask for it to be moved after your travel dates but if I remember right they don't have any sort of guarantee on how much longer you have to wait for reschedule. Maybe others here have experience and can comment on that

Assuming you can't change the travel dates, you have to wait for the email with the instructions for the oath ceremony which also includes an email address to reach out to for cases like this so that they postpone your ceremony

Yeah, I was hoping they'd started doing them in-person again :(

I don't think there's a Kitchener office. I live in Kitchener but the processing office is Niagara based on the email that sent me the test invite. No updates after passing the test on June 14th

I got the test instructions but I just want to double check something, so there's no specific time I should take the test right? I just go to the link from the test invite any time during my test window and take it, is that how it works?

I got my AoR on the 14th, and I'm also online applicant, and type single. No updates at all after AoR. Hoping we hear something soon!

I mean if you're spamming the thread (which you are and I'm gonna keep reporting your posts), at least reply to the post that asked about tests too!!

From other threads, my understanding is: it's called a ghost update which usually means someone has opened your application for processing and sometimes you'll see/get an actual update a few days after that
