I do not think it is a good idea to send someone PR card. However it is not passport, but you can get in trouble.

Things are moving. We received an "email" asking for dates coming into Canada for the first time and last time, current address and if we are still in Canada. That was an email, no update on the portal so it looked a bit sketchy. But the details in the email (application number, UCI and names...

We responded with the dates(which seemed harmless), address (calculated risk) and a simple yes for being in Canada. I didn't attach any documents as it seemed a little sketchy. But we got CoPR within 24 hours.

Well, I responded to the email we received yesterday evening, and just now 20 minutes ago we received CoPR. Hope everyone receiving the email gets PR. Thank you everyone for all your help and support. Live Long and Prosper.

In the Application status, it should be something like this. This means the medical got extended.

Does you application say your medical was approved with recent date? If not, it is yet to be extended.

To be honest I am not certain. Quite a few people are having their medical extended. You should be good. And within few days of medical extension, people get COPR

They asked because they do not have record for your ongoing job and would want to make sure that you will be able to support yourself.
