Did you get a request to send a passport. I know that it doesn’t take too long once everything checks out.

Gckey updated to application approved. Travel document generated. Very happy and grateful. Application went to Mexico but we had to submit our documents to Trinidad office. My spouse is from Trinidad. So happy and grateful that everything went smooth. Took 15 months and 11 days.

Yes I can imagine as I am missing my wife and son so much. But just like a pregnancy you can’t force the timing. Also look at how lucky we are to be in this stage. There are people here waiting wayy longer than us. To them I say to have faith and visualize the results they want.

No worries. Actually I just saw this thread. After I Replied I checked ecas and saw decision made. ! No letter from gckey yet. We submitted all docs and passport already. im very grateful as I’m sure this means a CoPR for my wife. Will inform when it happens. As it will happen as is happening...

Hey. Don’t worry. You submitted docs and did what you had to do. 100 percent sure everything will come soon. You made it this far already. Try to enjoy your last few days or weeks with your loved ones before you leave. In any case flights and stuff haven’t fully resumed.

Yep. It’s because the support for VAC is being run out of the country by support staff that speak Spanish and some English I believe. But they are helpful regardless.

When I messaged them they told me we don’t need to pay the transmission fee if biometrics were already given for the specific application already. You should double check this. I think all you need to pay is the one-way courier fee. If you send them an email they respond usually right away...

I think more than likely it’s tt. Apparently they are working there for the entire region now. But keep me posted.
