Yes i applied online. It wasn’t refused, it was withdrawn. I applied in August and it got withdrawn in November after spousal approval. Yea its a mistake on their end but its been 2 months now and they are not responding to webform or reconsideration requests ‍♂️

I am in the same shoe as you. I removed my canadian child when i saw the need for proof of medical. I believe as long as you indicated him/her in the Family Information form, you should be okay.
