This is awful, I’m so sorry. I have heard people contest refusal decisions successfully so don’t give up all hope for this application.

Yeah, I actually added the AOR about 2 months after I submitted my BOWP and my application got approved a few days later

I did exactly this, it was accepted and I received my BOWP without a problem. It’s a little unforgiving that IRCC outright rejects applications that don’t have the AOR attached, considering there is no space to upload it on the application.

I think it would be better to wait for your current application to be processed. It's unlikely they will reject your application as long as the new reference letter is clear. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing how long it will take for them to review your application and the open ended...

Thanks Jes. Do you happen to know anywhere where this is written down? I’ve found a couple of other threads on this forum where people had a similar history and did get a positive result on their CEC application, but I can’t find any definitive answer either way on the IRCC site.

It’s a generic reply that doesn’t mean anything, unfortunately. The only way to surefire way to find out what’s going on with your application is to order GCMS notes.

Can you get a job description with a new reference letter from your boss or HR? It’s better to do that and submit it via CSE. Search on this site for templates to make sure everything is covered as the format is quite specific. Your application should be approved if the new reference letter is OK.

There may have been something wrong with your IELTS document, check the requirements again fully and scan and upload it once more. You should be glad that they are opening and reviewing your application, there’s no need to be so rude.
