Ok, finally, 7 months after my test, I got the DM today. Waiting for the oath now (hopefully sooner than later).

Lack of transparency. By not communicating what exactly is happening with my file, I can simply think that it is sitting on a shelf somewhere. And then, I sound silly to them when I call to check on the status of my application, when I just simply want to know if someone is actually working on...

I thought that it will not last longer than 4 months, but yet, here we are 7 months later. I exhausted all my options - call IRCC, contact MP, e-mail the Mtl office, order the notes - with no luck. I decided to wait, as there is nothing else I can do at this moment. The worst part is that I pass...

Sorry to hear this. I am waiting since November 2021, no updates at all since then. I am somehow tired of not getting a clear answer from IRCC on why isn't the application moving forward. I also have friends who applied way after me who already had their oath ceremonies. The covid excuse is out...

I do, but there is nothing new. I called ircc a few times, no updates, i reached out to my mp, no updates, notes, nothing new. I mean, I know we are all in the same boat, but seeing applicants from August 2021 getting their DMs while some of us don't have any updates in the past 7 months is...

Exactly 1 year since I applied for citizenship, absolutely no update synce November 22 2021, when my test was marked as completed. I was somehow expecting the process to be over by now, especially when I see July and August applicants being invited to take their oath...maybe tomorrow, or the day...

Yes, it will not work if you are an online applicant. The waiting game is on for all of us, but on an optimistic note, May is around the corner, hopefully we will get an update soon.

Ok, so, in the April 2021 thread, more and more get Decision Made in the old ecas while nothing is updated in the new one. As May is around the corner, can we agree to advise if any of us go through the same thing in the next few weeks? At this stage, any update on our files would be helpful :))
