Hello, Does any of you have experience travelling to USA with American Airlines using Canadian Refugee Travel Document? Does American Airlines accept and recognize RTD like Air Canada? American airlines is cheaper then Air Canada, I am looking to book with American Airlines.

In my case US did not take my fingerprints, I was not sent secondary. Officer asked basic questions and asked if I am refugee, how long I have been in Canada, what do I do and let me go to the gates. Upon return to Canada, I was sent to immigration and let go after basic questioning.

You can return to Canada using only RTD. But after you scan your RTD on CBSA kiosks, machine will print a receipt that writes only "IMP". Nothing else. You need sticker visa on RTD, you can't get esta if you are using your RTD. Which country's passport did you use for your application?

Do you have any experience travelling on RTD with US visa at Pearson Pre Clearance? Does TSA kiosks recognize RTD or we should go to the separate immigration line like once we come to Canada? Last time when I arrived Canada, Canadian kiosk did not recognize my RTD and sent me to the officer.

It says claim was heard on october and RPD accepts the claim. So there is 0 day difference between decision date and hearing date.

Decision was made on the table. So my decision date and hearing date is the same. But issue date is a bit later than that.

For the date we became protected person, should we put the issue date of the NOD or the date we attended the hearing? For my pr application I put date of the hearing I guess we should put hearing date right?
