I applied on Dec 12th for my EoR for CD IELTS. No response till date. People who applied after me also got theirs. Remarking is a personal choice, chances are you will get a 0.5 increase, but 1 full band is unlikely.

Bro, it is all about the odds. The odds are higher for your getting 0.5 increased in EoR than you taking the test again and scoring all the above scores that you did well in. Go with EoR, you are more likely to get an increase in EoR.

My EoR has not come back yet, so I can't tell you yet. I will update my score when it comes back. My tips are already mentioned in the post, nothing more I can think of. I'm afraid I can't be of much help.

It is surprising that you got 7 in Writing and only 5.5 in speaking. I think you have a good shot of getting 0.5 increase, but frankly, I do not know how you performed. Usually people who do well in one aspect do well in others as well, but in your case, the scores are varied. A lot of difference.
