It took me 3 and a half months after test complete to get LPP. So just relax a little. You'll likely get it between months 3 and 4.

You can't lose your Canadian Citizenship no matter how long you are out of the country unless you willingly give it up formally through a process that takes time. You can only lose your permanent residence status by staying out of the Country but not your Citizenship. Just take your passport...

This is quite odd for Vancouver office. They usually process faster than most. I've been a few vancouver applications with Decision made already. For some reason they haven't even invited you to take a test. Try and go over your application again and see if you can spot any potential issues.

Tbh Citizenship applications normally take around a year to complete anyway, so if it takes 8-9 months then that's still a good turn around. We've just been spoiled with the recent 4-5 month applications. We need to re-adjust our expectations to more realistic standards.
