I'm completely stressing over CIC this weekend, even though I should be relaxing after a long work week. I called CIC Thursday* to see if I could get a status update because I did like three weeks ago and a gentlemen told me they were just waiting on some background checks and I should land...

I am somewhere in this "additional document" queue. I am waiting for them to apply my police clearance to my file and then I should be granted PR.

Hi Guys! It's meee again ;) So I did my 1st stage back in September and I now have my work permit and SIN and health card and all the good stuff...while I wait to land as PR immigrant. The hold up is that I had to send in my FBI clearance late and they just now confirmed they have my FBI...

I received the letter for first stage today and it was dated Sept 22nd. :) Thanks again LY

Congrats True Russian, I think that is both stages at once. Let's hope this week the timeline moves up for more of those in November!

Thank you very much, I am so excited. I started bawling my eyes out for a good 30 minutes...all the anxiety from waiting all those months, and I can finally get a OWP and OHIP... I am very happy!
