I just received an email this morning that my certificate was issued. It took them 2 weeks! Not sure if it helped - Yesterday I sent another follow up email asking about my certificate, i included a scanned copy of my cut PR and the 2 IDs that I showed the agent in the breakout room on the day...

Virtual Oath was Oct 19 - Mississauga. Still haven't received my certificate. Called IRCC and was told to be patient, even though the message on the portal clearly indicates it only requires 2-5 business days for processing.

Congrats! the agent i spoke to on Friday told me to be patient and that it usually takes more that 2-5 business days. Lets see how things go this week.

I had my virtual oath with Mississauga office on 19th Oct. its been 5 business days but my certificate is still not available for download. I re-sent them the signed letter and raised a webform. Wondering if you have any other recommendations?

Is there a way to initiate that myself, of do i have to call IRCC and request it?

It was not requested now, but back in August-October 2022 (when it first cleared up) FP were sent (twice)

Finally some movement on my file (Mississauga office). Initial oath date was supposed to be 21st of February. Today the Citizenship Ceremony status changed from "In Progress" to “Not started”

I compared my GCMS notes from March vs. August and they are identical, nothing has changed. The last update on my online tracker was March 2.

I am sure there is no max / cap on processing time. The 18 months is the (current) AVERAGE processing time (for 80% of applications). If the average processing time is exceeded, then can apply for an Order of Mandamus, where a federal court hears requests and pressures IRCC to decide on the...

Mine was supposed to 21 February, still no updates.

& rescheduling with Mississauga office can take time ... I had to miss my original oath date, which was on 21 February. I am still waiting for them to schedule a new date :rolleyes:.

Yes, the only update i got over the phone was: we've received the proof of return please wait until your office schedules the date.
