Any update now? My sister submitted her study permit application on April 22. Did biometrics a few days later and still no word. now we can see processing time is 10 weeks so she is almost there. Any update would be helpful

Apparently they stared processsing my application on Sep 10. Just realized it today. I have only been checking my daughters account. I think because she’ll require no exam

If your province did not ask for an English test, you probably don't need one. In Alberta, it depends on your NOC code.

My daughter has received her PR card but my husband and I are still waiting. Has any one experienced this! Regards

Landed on 14 January and waiting for my card

My husbands police certificate was issued days before he left for Canada. We used it in our application and no new police clearance was requested. We already live here and landed at a land border last month. I believe you will be fine

Send your passport to them immediately. They need minimum validity of six months which you have. Any time wasted could cost you to renew your passport.

That has been the standard practice to the best of my knowledge. The Medicals are automatically extended for people already in Canada. I am afraid your hubby would have to repeat the Medicals.
