Final update from me. I did indeed pick up my passport from Canada Post on Friday, August 27. This brings my citizenship journey to an end. Thank you to all those who provide valuable information on this forum. Good luck everyone :)

The new tracker will not show Decision Made. You need to check ECAS if you want to see Decision Made.

I'm in Alberta. No appointment necessary; I just walked in.

I just got back from my local Service Canada location (not a Passport Office). I was able to submit my application there and pay the fees. The anticipated mail out date for the passport is mid August.

Those were my thoughts too! Unfortunately the nearest Passport Office is not close by, so Service Canada will have to do. Absolutely :) I will drop in first thing tomorrow with my application and see what they say.

My citizenship certificate arrived today so I'm ready to apply for my passport. The Service Canada offices reopening is a very interesting development - I feel like I should check with my local office to see if I can submit my application there rather than mailing it off.

As an update to my application, the new tracker now shows everything as complete, and ECAS shows my application as Closed. :)

It really depends on which office is processing your application. I waited four months between citizenship test and decision made (everything complete except ceremony), and only five days from that stage to being scheduled for an oath.

I would also like to know the answer to this. It's probably a safe assumption that you're correct.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but it seems most Calgary applicants receive their oath invite within 1-2 weeks of decision made, so you're probably very close :)

Congrats! Yes, Decision Made is from the old tracker. I knew the date because I've been checking at least five times a day for the last four months lol. Everything (except oath ceremony) was set to complete on the new tracker on the same date (June 17).
