Guys, if someone has received a student visa and they submitted their passport and got it back as well, so visa is on their passport. However, now they no longer want to go to Canada to study. What should they do next? Cancel visa? If so, how is that done? Any information would be useful...

Guys, just a question out of curiosity, if someone has a student visa and it’s on their passport (before their travel date they decide not to go for some reason), what will happen? will they have to cancel the visa? Like send a sort of cancellation letter to the IRCC?
