It's been down and it's working again already. Patience :)

LOL! I have just received a second PPR letter. The first one was issued from the Centralized Intake Office on January 29th and the second from the London office on February 12th. I submitted my document package last week and waiting for the tracking number.

I've submitted my documents to VFS Global in Sweden today. We see how long it takes to get final COPR papers back. I assume they will send me paper copies that I need to present when landing in Canada.

Are you the sponsor? I understand that your husband is a principle applicants, so he can create his own gckey account and see the updates and messages related to the application.

I will get that that checked. As far as I remember eTA is linked directly to the passport number, so when passport changes eTA expires even though it's actual validity date hasn't expired yet. I was curious whether COPR serves as a valid temporary travel authorization (visa/eTA in a way) along...

Oh ok, that makes sense now. Thank you for clarifying! Now I understand that when the passport request procedure takes place abroad then none of this applies and the standard boarder crossing landing has to take place before the COPR expires to "activate" the PR.

The PR portal emails, credentials, and all this jazz. I'm not sure when it happens and where it fits in.

Do I understand correctly that this process applies for Inland applicants only or is it for both inland and outland? I'm confused.

Is your background check still in progress? This is apparently the part that may take a long time.
