Thanks. Well Canada can only give me Money but I have some other preferences. This OCI is for my kid, I am still and will always be an Indian. I do not see any issue with long term stay with OCI.

Finally, I went and picked up the OCI, not sure what they liked about my OCI card that they hold it for 3 days. Leaving Canada for good Thank you everyone.

Yes, they told it hasn’t reached BLS yet, I will go and collect after BLS has it. Not sure why they are delaying it. If in case they dispatch it can I contact Purolator and collect from them to avoid delays, anyone know this ?

@Nav1108 @AnandSundar : Did you guys receive your booklet in hand ? My status is still "(Passport ready For Collection after OCI stamping)" since 3rd Oct and I am travelling on 14th Oct.

Thanks for the update, glad to hear that. Mine should follow the same path with 3-4 delays. I just checked, it says " (Passport ready For Collection after OCI stamping) what does it mean. I think its default status because I opted for courier service, can someone confirm.

How long does it take to get tracking number after its processed in OCI site.

You would get the OCI in hand by Nov first week ( going by the trends) , you should go for Evisa.
