Got GCMS notes today. There is a line item which says 'discrepancies between the declared absences and ICES. CIT520 to be issued for passport copies'. I guess there could be some difference in entry / exit dates in ICES (their system) against what has been declared for which passport copies was...

After 1 year of application submission, got a mail from CIC today asking for colour copies of all pages of passport with entry / exit stamps within the next 30 days to determine physical presence requirement.

Agree. It's in the queue. If they are able to clear the queue, they will get to our applications sooner. If not, their systems will flag it as due when the due date approaches. Some people have been luckier whose application got processed sooner. But for most its been a long wait.

Received GCMS notes. Had applied 4 weeks ago. Nothing surprising. LPP status - NOT STARTED and the due date is 04 Nov 2023. Assigned to RC-8090. That is CPC, Sydney. Primary office is Scarborough. The wait continues....

Congrats on the milestone :) Your case helps build expectations for those waiting. And re-emphasizes - never build any of your plans centered around your application to IRCC. The wait could be very long.

This is not unusual. The line is super busy all the time. You need to have patience and keep trying. Even if you reach them, all that you will hear is that the application is in progress and well within the processing timelines. Test passed in Mar and still showing 'in progress' is also not...

Congrats. Good to see some positive news coming from Scarborough office. Hopefully the files with Oct timelines will move for others too.

Many on this forum stuck at the same spot LPP in progress since Jan, Feb, Mar. Most of them Scarborough office. Nothing can be done. Irrespective what reason you quote, CIC will take their own sweet time.
