How long after oath do the application status gets updated to complete?

Hi, Is it possible to receive my citizenship certificate outside Canada after taking my oath in Canada instead of waiting? I am scheduled for my oath in but will be traveling back home. I will apply for Canadian passport at my home country. Is it doable?

Hi there- I will be doing the same as well I.e traveling for oath back to Canada. Do you know if we have to wait for the certificate and get the passport before we leave or can the certificate delivered to an address outside Canada as well? kibdly let me know if you have any info on this. TIA.

I was in the same boat as you. I sent them a note expecting for a new time frame. but received an email a day before my testing time frame was supposed to end saying that I can go ahead and take the test "during" the original test invitation timing. I had to rush to take the test. Based on this...

Hi I received test invite on Dec 17th. as am outside Canada i sent IRCC an email as advised in the invitation. Its been more than two weeks with no response Should I go ahead and take the test? or the process to take the test outside Canada is different?

5 weeks from day of submission. as for effect on application processing timing, i am still stuck at back ground check so not true for me :S

you know your file was redistributed to Niagra? how? if I recall you said it "in trasnit" as per your GCMS notes. I am asking as I am trying to figure this "redistribution" fiasco for my file and it does not say which office is it being redistributed to... only "in transit"

How can we do it? request GCMS notes again or email? which email address? or webform? though web form does not have any optionabout getting information on application and one gets generic reply saying Afghanistan applications are priority.

my notes also say- latest reply by 08/10/2022 for all steps... is it same for you as well? I hope IRCC doesnt take this date literally.. fingers crossed for faster processing!
