No I didn't expedite it, they just transferred my application to my local Service Canada.

I had the same timeline as you, my tracker never changed. Therefore I went in person to Service Canada and within 2 days I received my passport.

Does the application stay with the office in Quebec or do they process it closer to the home town?

Hi everyone, I have applied by mail in July. According to Canada Post it was delivered on the 11th. End of July they have sent only my e-certificate back and a file number? Nothing since then :(

Your next step is LPP to be completed and that can take a while, depending on your application/office…, once LPP completed you’ll wait for the oath! In my group May 2023, some were processed within 3-6 month some still waiting for the LPP to turn green.

Hi, my application was approved in 4 months. I didn't surrender my German passport, it's still valid for the next 7 years. I'm just going to hang on to it till they change the laws.

Awe, seriously I’m checking regularly to see if you guys got any news! Why Sydney, what’s different between them and other offices? It shouldn’t matter if you have travel plans, your case isn’t different than someone getting approved quickly! Just not fair but I admire your calmness!
