Sorry, your friend just got married on the phone? To answer your question there is no income requirement, but will need to submit docs from revenue canada showing income, and her spouse can't be on welfare.

Thank you for your advice. Not possible for him to apply from outside, but I'm glad to know that having two citizenships won't cause a delay. Edit: have read more about outside applications and now understand that we could apply that way. Thanks!

Thank you. If applying for inland does it make a difference what the home country is? Would there be a time difference for two countries of citizenship instead of one?

Also, if he gives up his US citizenship and just applies with Dutch citizenship will it save time in the process?
