Only 10 days gap between ceremony and work-related travel. What's the best action?

Wow, that's quite a compelling argument. I could definitely redo my travel plans and arrive at buffalo/detroit. However, I am not brave enough to try that tough. Also, I lot of people going through the trouble of requesting expedited citizenship certificates and standing in line for hours at...

Only 10 days gap between ceremony and work-related travel. What's the best action?

The border crossing through land still requires the citizenship certificate, right? If so, I am still afraid 10 days including a weekend in the middle will not be enough time to get the certificate. And if I take the oath I will lose my PR card.

Only 10 days gap between ceremony and work-related travel. What's the best action?

That's what I fear. One cannot trust that it will arrive on time, even if requested and granted the expressed delivery.

Only 10 days gap between ceremony and work-related travel. What's the best action?

The first time, I replied to the invitation email saying that I had a trip booked too close to the ceremony date. They replied back a couple of days after saying that I should email them after my return so they could put me back in the queue. After my return I emailed them, and a couple of weeks...

Only 10 days gap between ceremony and work-related travel. What's the best action?

Thanks. I am leaning towards avoiding the stress. That's my motto. My only concern is that this would mean a second reschedule, and I don't want them to think I don't want it! I have just been a bit unlucky with these dates. After my first reschedule they asked me to redo the fingerprints. Does...

Only 10 days gap between ceremony and work-related travel. What's the best action?

Hi friends, need your opinion here: Oath ceremony scheduled to Jun 20th as per online checking, did not receive the invitation email yet. However, I have a work-related travel to Europe previously booked for Jun 30th. I have an invitation letter from the company in Europe, flight tickets, and...

Hi all, quick question here: I received my CoPR. Now I need to validate it. I am currently leaving in Toronto. I want to book an appointment in one of the IRCC offices close to me, I called the number 1-888-242-2100 as described in one of the forms I received, but it's just an electronic message...

I am not sure, actually they know I'm inland based on all my paperwork. I don't know why they gave me a max date to land here.

Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

Because I'm already inland, do I need to re-enter the country to activate the PR? Is there such a thing as activating the PR? Or once I receive my passport with PR I am good to go

Oh thanks a lot. I'm already inland. Does the PR have an expiry date though?

Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

Hi all, I have a question: My PR was just approved today Jul 12 (Passport required country, and delivered in Ottawas on Jun 26, tracker not yet activated). But on the website it says "expiry date 2018/03/10". What does that mean? Am I going to have to renew it in the next few months?
