    Multi-use Evidence

She finished high school in Canada and moved here. I understand the need for proof, it makes no sense to give PRs if there's no intention of moving. We are young, no kids, ready do start our adult life, we want to build a family in Canada. We will try to do it outland with what we have. If it...

    AUGUST 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Sadly no, they won’t do that, especially with the quarantines and stuff it makes it so much longer, it’s too much time. Yep, he has bills and stuff, no rental agreement. Parents are helping us both out by letting us stay rent free to save as much as possible to buy a house once he gets here...

    AUGUST 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Is there a way his work will allow a leave of absence and write a letter indicating he’d have a position still waiting for him when he returns? That, plus the demonstration of funds to support himself and pay for any healthcare issues, plus a place he can clearly demonstrate is a place he has a...

Sponsoring Same-sex to be spouse (Outland)

Well, all evidence in support is better than nothing, but some carry more weight than others. Personally I doubt this would carry much weight - sounds like your parents have been out of Canada for a long time and they're planning on moving back too, but five years from now? Doesn't sound at all...

Just circling back here on the proof of intent to return.. my parents are both Canadian citizens (not by birth) but also living in Portugal. Would it be a significant help having letters from them stating they also intent to move back to Canada once they reach retirement (about 5 years from now)...

Sponsoring Same-sex to be spouse (Outland)

Yes, if you apply from Canada, at least you won't have to try to prove your intent to return, and that is the most challenging part of your application. Ideally you would have a job of some sort/some savings - even if there is no formal income requirement, you are expected to show you can...

Canadian citizen lives abroad for sponsor wife and children citizenship query

You need to apply for Certificates of Citizenship for the children and to sponsor your wife. These are different apps sent to different places. Fees are listed on the website. You don't need to show proof of funds to sponsor your spouse but do need to show how you support yourselves in Canada...

    MARCH 2020 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

It is difficult for an outland applicant to be granted a TRV because it becomes challenging to prove ties to home country, as they have a spouse/partner in Canada whom becomes a stronger tie. But Outland applicants have been and are given TRV if they meet the requirements. And some apply outland...

    Getting married

If you are out of Canada for a few months, you need to inform IRCC and should expect a request for proof of intent to return. It's fine for an applicant to come to Canada mid-process, provided they have a valid eTA/TRV.

    Getting married

Okay, so I'm confused by what you said. I finish off my degree early December, so since my husband and I have been apart since we have been married I want to go visit and live with him - possibly go for a honeymoon since we weren't able to before, I have to inform IRCC of my travel plans? even...

    Getting married

Note that when you move to England, you must inform IRCC that you have moved out of Canada. You can then expect a request for proof of intent to return to Canada as soon as the sponsorship app is approved. If you can't show such proof, the app will likely be refused.

    Spousal sponsorship

Proof of intent to return should be fine. If IRCC is not convinced, they will request more. Your plan to support yourselves is a bit overkill. You can submit all of it but with $50k in savings, you can skip the cost breakdowns, health care estimates etc. and just provide a general explanation.
