Hi Seniors,
i am a 5'10" tall guy and weigh in at 330 pounds, hence my BMI is very high.(no sugar/diabetes)
Can this be a reason on inadmissibility?
I am really worried about this. Can seniors please shed some light on this.
that's what i thought, because they did a dip stick that i know is used for checking various levels related to diabetes, just wasn't 100% sure that's what they check for. thanks!
Well, it's really my grandma. Under protected person's category, for PR. Her medical has been received, but she is 80 years old and has diabetes, and has had heart problems in the past. So we're wondering if she'll pass her medical exam!
the principal applicant for us is a type 1 diabetic and this was a worry for us. However we were advised that as long as you maintain regular checkups and your diabetes is stable, there shouldn't be a problem.
Good Luck x
