    Bro, Sugar is checked in urine sample, not in blood... only when urine sample indicates sugar, then you are requested to do additional tests..

    Diabetes is not likely to be deemed to cause excessive demand on the Canadian health system. The OP didn't post the root cause (medical condition) bringing about CICs conclusion on the matter.

    Does it make any difference if my wife is Diabetic? I see they have Diabetes tests as well. She is insulin dependant diabetic. Should I worry about her or is it fine??
