Same here. Waiting for oath and LPP showed completed as of 21 July. We should be in the next invitee list for the oath, so hang in there. This office is normally slow from what others have said, but now we just play the final waiting game :(

Was your BG check completed before you got your test invite?

So this is an email explaining how to download your certificate after the oath. Some offices will send this email after oath and some (like Niagara) usually send it before oath invite. It’s kind of nice to receive it ahead of time. It lets you know that an oath invite is just around the corner.

GU is a good sign that your officer opened your file and started working on it, hopefully your LPP will complete in the next few days. Due dates are system generated-1 year from your AOR. Many folks have noticed updates before or even after their due dates so it's case specific.

In my case I don't fall into any of those bullet points and I still haven't seen any real update since the test done in May (no BG, no LPP, no nothing)...so why is the non-routine thing not arbitrary?

Lots of people have been waiting for an update since the test in February/March. Me included. Complete silence since a ghost update on march 9th. I am SO over this garbage system where people are getting their file completed in 3 months start to finish and others wait years in silence.

My LPP was done in July. I got a similar response. My office is also Vancouver My application was granted. Only oath was remaining. Now they are telling my MP that they are doing additional verifications. I have no idea what they have issue with?
