Has anybody whose study permit application is processed by london visa office received any updates regarding their application?

I applied for my study permit from the us on March 14th online and thought they were processing my file all this while but then last week, i sent an email to ircc newyork and a web form via cic. The reply to my email stated that my study permit wasnt being procesessed by the new york office...

When things were normal, you would get a decision anytime from two to four weeks after or longer but if the Visa application centre( VAC) in your country is opened....you might get it very soon..goodluck!

On my study permit application status...eligibility says "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements", How exactly is that done or what does IRCC review for you to be considered "eligible" for a study permit and in what cases can a person be ineligible?

People have gotten their student permits after march 18th.and some even got refused after march 18th ..ive seen a couple of them on this platform.....i believe when VAC's open in your country thats when you'll most likely get a response or get an update because the embassy works with vac's for...

On google.........plus the vac newyork had been temporarily closed since until this morning when i checked it and also the website says its opened too

This is good news for those of us that applied for study permit from the us...the VAC opened just this morning and will be opened from monday to friday from 7:30 am till 5:00pm...at least we can hope for a response anytime soon or at least an update
