My Security and BG were cleared in May 2024 but still no decision yet on my file :( I hope the backlogs will be cleared after the summer holidays

Are there any applicants from 2020 or early 2021 still waiting for approval? I applied in February 2021 and haven’t received any updates on the final decision, even though all assessments have been passed.

All my assessments were completed/passed in May, but I haven't received a final decision yet. My file has also been transferred to Montreal. Is anyone else experiencing a similar situation?How long they take to make the final decision and next steps ?

Hi 2Plus2, No - I have not received the portal access yet. Have you received the portal access?

It is as per the MyCIC portal, the status was shared by my consultant. I tried IRCC hotline automated status - as per that the eligibility and background are in process. I thought Pre-arrival will be issued only if the eligibility is completed.

I passed the medical and received the PAL last week but the eligibility is still under review? Is it common?

I included Fund and LOS. not sure about the PCC and Medicals - my application is still in process and no additional documents requested till now.

Hi, the initial validity was 1 year and the starting time of the WP is from the entry date. For the WP extension application, it is similar to the original application and it is better to include the business progress report as well.

Hello everyone, I submitted my ADR last week. Do you know how long IRCC takes to review the ADRs and revert? What would be the next step? Application submitted: Feb 2021 AOR: April 2023 I have also submitted my WP extension in April 2023 and waiting for an update.

If the local police has cleared the PCC, the portal will show "PCC was cleared......".. if you are seeing PCC cleared or printed message, it is best to approach CGI either by sending an email or walk-in.
