I got my pr before they enabled portal so I sent out my PR Card application as a physical mail.

Honestly I don't even care if I get a card or not at this point. I don't plan to leave Canada for next decade or so but not having access to that solid proof of my status makes me nervous :(

Is it normal to not receive acknowledgement of receipt even after sending photos via mail? I have been waiting since March and I have no idea what is going on. Should I assume my PR card application was rejected and send new one?

Well that is a relief. Thanks for letting me know Moose. This is separate question but.. does IRCC inform me if my PR card application is defective? Like, if they do not approve of the pictures I sent them will they let me know or will they silently discard it? I was thinking maybe it's better...
