My kid (she's 8 ) was invited for the oath 2 weeks ago with a separate letter from the immigration. She didn't take the test of course.

It was on the white paper.

We got an invite for the oath for 26th of March. Test was on 28th of January. Good luck everyone !

We were there at 10.15 (scheduled for 10.30). We were out at 12.15. I have taken the whole day out, but could have only half.

She said it will not. We have 30 days to send it, and as soon as she get it she'll review it and that's it. They were all very nice there.

Hi all, My wife and I passed our citizenship yesterday. It was much easier then we have expected. I was done in aprox. 2 mins. The only thing we need to do is translate some stamps because the dates (only month) is in roman numbers (!). Good luck everyone.

I got the invitation letter yesterday dated 19th Dec for the test on 28th of Jan. Happy holidays everyone :D

I did my fingerprints sometime in April. In the office they told me that it will be sent to Ottawa and back and they will send it in my name to Calgary office. Also they said it will take min. 2 weeks, more likely 3. I checked aprox. 4 weeks after that and Calgary office told me they have it.

It was from Calgary when I got it. Sometime between Jan and Apr was transferred to Calgary office, but it doesn't say on online check.
