Do we need i94 stampings even with a Canadian passport? I thought Canadian citizens are exempt from i94 stampings at the borders? Did I get the wrong?

Test results could take anywhere between 2-10 business days to get updated. In your case it might get updated tomorrow or next week. Please refer to the sheet to get an idea of the current timeline. From the office email I see SCR, so it could be Scarborough office. But I'll let others confirm.

Yes, my test window started on Aug 22nd and I received the email on 20th afternoon. I'm thinking they send it two days before. So, for Sept 5th you should likely get the invite tomorrow or the day after (factoring in the long weekend).

An officer would review your test recording and mark it as complete if everything checks out. Even though you pass, your test results could still be invalid if the officer finds anything out of the ordinary from your recording. The citizenship test update will happen only after the officer...

I think child's application only gets updated in the last stage after LPP is done for parents applications. It's the same case with my kids application too and it's normal.

Citizenship test given today (Aug 25th). Window was Aug 22 to Sept 21. Showed my PR as proof/ID during the test. It doesn't have signature, I am hoping that isn't a problem at all.

From what I understand, GU (Ghost Update) means that the officer is actively working on your application and there might be a real update soon. But not all Ghost Updates get converted to a real update but the fact that GUs appear means that the file is being worked on.
