    Got my visa today......... ;D....went trw Pretoria....Heres my timeline Application filed:Sept 11,2009 Approved @ CPC Miss:Oct 7,2009 AOR:Nov 28,2009 Call Received for PPR:Dec 08,2009 Call Received for pick up:Dec 11,2009 Passport with visa:Dec 14,2009 Total time:88 days!!!!!!

    reason for this question is.....our application for PR is in already....we were looking to go to the UK for a vacation...im from a country were a uk visa is essintial....i have already applied for a UK visa....so i was wondering what would happen if it was refused???

    when does the visa office get the application from CPC-M?

    i still didnt get anything........:-(btw i am re-applying,got refused the first time coz marriage was not legal where it was done.....my E Cas still shows "not available" for the second part....for my first application i received AOR within two weeks of it being sent to the local embassy....

    What is the usual time frame for the visa office to receive the application?our application was approved on Oct,6 but since then ecas has still not changed the second part to "in process".im getting really worried.

    second time faster????

    Hi....we applying the second time because the first time we got refused as our marriage was not legal,so we got a civil marriage done when my wife came down and we re-applied.would the second time be faster as background checks and other stuff were already done the first time?????

    Hi there....my wife is sponsoring me,currently she is working and we did disclose that to CIC with a letter from her employer.But at the end of November she wants to come down and live with me until i get my visas which would mean her quiting her job.Whould this be fine or could it be a problem...

    TO PMM....Is the 2nd application quicker then the 1st?

    Hi all.we applied for PR in january but were refused in august because our marriage was done according to "islamic law",and we were not aware that it is not recognised as legal were it took place.so we re applying this week,would it take the same amount of time or would it be quicker???
