    no it doesnt make any difference. you have to do extra test to check your kidney function. start doing exercises(running) it will reduce your sugar. best of luck.

    As long as you are free from diseases that results in inadmissibility, you are good to go. Its just the situation you are in will place u under detailed medical screening. Even if you are diabetic and you are maintaining it well and you had told ur IME doctor, its not a problem.
