You should answer "no". Approved in Principle (AIP) refers to the first stage of an inland spousal sponsorship and has nothing to do with FSW.

You want to sponsor your ex-wife? Well it certainly won't be under the spousal sponsorship method, and i cant really think of a way.

I just know thatas a canadian when i sponsored my Mexican husband i did not need a required income because it was a spousal sponsorship:)

Are you planning on applying for the OWP as part of a spousal application? If so, he has to be in Canada, and the application is made as part of the spousal sponsorship. You can't apply for it on its own, nor as part of a tourist visa application.

There is no minimum income requirement.
