My parents got V1 Visa, and the visa will expire in March 2020. Although V1 is 10 year multiple visa, what is meant by visa expiry in March 2020.? 1.Their passports expire in April 2020. Will they have to apply again for visa after March 2020.?

My parents applied on May 13, submitted Bio-metrics on May 22 from Pakistan. They got a letter today asking them to submit their passports to VAC. The letter doesn't say that they will get visa. What does this mean.? and how long will it take to get the visa now?

My parents submitted Biometrics on May 22. It says completed on June 01. Still waiting for the decision.

Purpose of visit is to Visit my family in Canada. My father had been to US a couple of times, but it was 15 yrs ago.

Thnaks for the reply. From May 22 its 51 days, and if you take out 7 Eid holidays, its now 44 days.

My parents applied for visit visa from Pakistan on May 13, and their bio-metrics was done on May 22. Its 60 days now , and they have received no reply since then.
