Apologies if this is off topic but does anyone know how long it takes for the next update after biometrics and medical is updated? I know every case is different but just wanted to know if anyone has any calculated prediction what are the immediate next steps after the above-mentioned updates...

There is high probability you might be getting it by the end of this week or early next week. As of now, that's what the current pattern indicates. Don't stress over it too much.

Tbh I really don't know about the change because I used an immigration consultant. However, our BIL does show the 10 digit UCI numbers for both me and my wife. Can you please share what does this mean? Just wondering at what stage are we in the process? We have booked the biometrics appointment...

The criteria for CEC is very straightforward. Regardless of your previous background of work or education, as long as you fulfil the 1 year in a TEER 0, 1, 3 job, you're eligible for the category I'm sure. Additionally, if IRCC happen to ask why you changed your field (I highly doubt they will)...
