So could I get admitted to college by just submitting the original education credentials I got from the Philippines?

Hi. I'd like to ask if I need to get an education credential assessment (ECA). I applied as a permanent resident (under family class sponsorship). I studied in the Philippines from elementary to upper secondary education levels. Upon my arrival in Canada, I'll study as a college student.

IRCC had sent a passport request letter to me before I submitted my passport at the Visa Application Center.

My COPR number is already visible on my IRCC application status tracker, but I haven't yet received COPR confirmation or eCOPR from IRCC. Additionally, I've already submitted my passport yesterday at VAC in Manila. Do I need to do something?

Which will take a bit longer? The reply from IRCC or my permanent residence application?

I can still see my PR application on my IRCC secure account and the IRCC application status tracker as well. But on the PR Portal account that I made, there's nothing on it. There are just some drop-down questions asking, for example, "Program under which you are applying."

But anyway, would that really cause a delay in my permanent residence application?

My father was the one who submitted my PR application in Canada, but he didn't mention anything about creating a PR Portal.

If that is so, the Visa Application Center should change their list of requirements on their website. They should write Appendix B instead of Appendix A, as it really confuses applicants.

You said Appendix A contains questions asking name, eye colour, height, etc. I just received the passport request today, and I believe this is the Appendix A that you were talking about. But the text above says that it's Appendix B and not Appendix A.
