Does it mean i am closed in getting my PR, however I still have not received P2

If my PR is approved , does that mean I just need to wait for my PR card?

It isn't. You ONLY become a PR when you are virtually landed (eCoPR) or land at the airport/border visit in Canada using your CoPR. If you are in-land, you'll be issued an eCoPR.

The distinction matters here in terms of when you become a PR. If you haven't received a portal 1 or portal 2 yet, you are still a little closer, but not PR yet.

Once you get portal 1, portal 2, submit them and receive your eCoPR - that's only when you become a PR here in Canada.

Side note that a lot seem to miss here - We've seen a very small number of applications receive PFL post portal 2 as misrep was identified post portal 2. This is just to show that portal 1, portal 2, etc don't imply becoming a PR.

^This is no different from an outland applicant not becoming a PR when they have an CoPR but is yet to land here in Canada. PR status is only assigned after eCoPR or physically landing at the Canadian border and completing your eligibility.

I've got ADR for my daughter's birth certificate, even though its already uploaded.
"Birth registration/certificate: Please ensure that the names of the parents are printed on this certificate (long-form certificate) This must be received at this office by: 2025/08/18"
I assume its because the birth certificate doesn't have the surname of parents as given in her/parents' passport. It also applies to her own name (no surname). I thought this was a common issue for people from India. Anyways I'm gonna attach a notarized affidavit as proof. Any other ideas are welcome!

Exactly. basically seeing the COPR number means that application is approved in principal awaiting finalization ( lading process either physically at the border or inland process P1 P2 ).
In other words, in a PR application there are 2 stages: The Application stage in which the agent verifies the documents submitted and everything, so seeing the COPR number means the the agent who processed your application said yeah this ok but it's not finished yet. After that your file gets transferred to the 2nd stage : The Landing stage. now you need as an applicant to do the landing process. One this is done and one you Landed you become a PR in Canada and your application is closed.
