PR Renewal applications April 2025

Hi. Thank you for your reply! Are you based in Toronto as that will give an idea of how long the post might take? Additionally, I just spoke to IRCC because someone told me to link my application and they said they have no proof of my application as yet which is crazy. Did you experience something like this? They asked me to wait till their system picks up the application.
Yes, I am based in GTA area.
I did not try to link application but continued checking status in the PR portal which still shows "submitted". There are others in the March 2025 PR renewal thread who also received the card in 10 days without any email from IRCC or any status change in the portal. When did you apply?

Oh, aright. I should be doing the same as well. But I just find it so odd that IRCC cant find my application in their system. They were providing details of contact and address of my first application (1st PR card) and I said no, the new address and phone number is all there in the new application (renewal). I applied on 23rd April.
The linking of the application to the GC key - is what Im assuming you are referring to. If yes, then that whole process has been a pain for me. Even after getting the Application Number from IRCC, I am unable to link it. I add all the information it requires such as application number, family name, city and country of birth, nationality, date you became PR. All informaton is standard and yet it says no application found. So after 10 days I have given up on the linking.
My husband applied PR card on April 23rd from Edmonton. Still we didn't receive the card. @ShaDawood did you receive your card yet?
Hello. I applied for the renewal on 23rd as well. I spoke to IRCC today and they said they mailed it on the 3rd of May so I should just keep an eye on my mail box. Do you have any update on the portal or the linked application?
@ShaDawood I found in another thread that you can check when your application got approved. go to PR portal, enter Ctl+Shift+i , go to console tab, under array, check updatedAT: date , which should be approved date. mine showing April 29. When is yours?
We tried to call IRCC, since we don't have an application number, couldn't go through the automated services. Tried 3 times but couldn't get in to the queue for an Agent. Let me know how you able to contact IRCC agent

Mine said 30th April when I checked it like that. So if yours said April 29th, you can rest assured that its already been mailed. With IRCC I have noted that if I call them between 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST, I get placed in the queue. Even a second above 11:00 AM, and they ask to call back. - At least that has been my experience. Also, even if you manage to get the application number, I don't think linking will work - as it did not for me. When asked the agent, she said, once its approved, you will not be able to link it - which in itself is questionable..
@ShaDawood ok, make sense. I guess since we are in Edmonton, it would take few more days to come compare to GTA. Will update you as soon as I receive the card. Please let me know when you receive yours. Thanks a lot!
