Hi there...
I've applied to renew my RTD via mail (canada post) with a tracking number on the 31 Mars 2025, and IRCC received it on the 02 April.
I called them on Tuesday 15th April. They told me that they are working on it since 07 april and it flagged as urgent. As I am traveling in 2 weeks from now.
As Guarantee person, I went to the police station in order my photo and 1 of the page to be signed

I will come back on Monday with an update.
Hopefully with a good news !

Hello Everyone, I am applying for a Refugee Travel Doc for my 4 and 14-year-old children. I am so confused, which document should I attach as an ID? I heard health cards don't work. Their passport is already been seized at the border. I have the true copy of their passport, Birth certificate from our home country. Can you please advise me on that? I also heard they don't accept a passport copy. Thank you all for all your time and support in every matter. Stay Safe!!! Thank you so much

Hallo

Please, put all that you have ! And the officer of IRCC to choose what is important. Do not be affraid :
- RAMQ : medical card (copy)
- birth certificate (copy)
- if you have : labrary Card (copy)
- any other document or card with name... or with name and picture of the child.

But know that, sometimes, IRCC takes time to print RTD for mineur ! Unless both parents prove that they living together.

Best of Luck.

Thank you very much. How about the refugee protection claimant document and /or Passport true copy? they both have a picture. My wife and I are living together here. what kind of document should we submit to confirm that? Thank you again.

Thank you for the link. I went through that, but what confuses me is that, since we don't have any passports in our hands except the True copy, I don't have anything to submit except their birth certificate, or maybe the brown ID (claimant document but this may conflict with notice of decision that I already have at hand). A health card is not acceptable. I just want to avoid any confusion and not to make a mistake as this thing can take a long time, and making any mistake worsens the situation.
