For spousal sponsorship, will engagement invitation and photos taken during the ceremony will be helpful as an added advantage when submitting the PR along with the marriage certificate?
Usually in India , some of us tend do a small ceremony ,3-6 months before marriage and confirm between families that we will be married in so and so date ? Although it’s not same as the official marriage certificate and it can’t be a replacement, just want to make sure if this invite and photos will be useful .

Yes! it says on the checklist 5533 that wedding invitations and photos are acceptable as proof.

thanks @catlady91 for your response. I’m sorry if I didn’t mention it clearly before but this invite is not for wedding but for an another small ceremony which takes place to confirm our wedding . On the engagement day, we write something between our families and sign it to confirm our wedding date . Will this document be helpful ? This is not a wedding invite or official document . Tbh this is just what we are following as a tradition. Kindly confirm on the same

We can add engagement photos along with marriage photos and marriage certificate. All are valid.

anything related to the relationship is helpful. It depends on how much other proof you have for your relationship.
If you have been living together or dating in person for a long long time, then those ceremony invite won't be as useful.
But if the relationship is short or it's an arranged marriage, then the formal celebration can be important proof.
