All you can do is wait. Passport stamping often takes some time.

Normal Timeline:

It usually takes 2–4 weeks for passport stamping after submission to VFS, but delays can occur due to:

  • High volume of applications
  • Internal reviews
  • Public holidays or staff shortages

Since it's already over 5 weeks, you're right to be concerned.

2. Next Steps:

a. Raise a Webform Inquiry to IRCC:

Use the IRCC Webform and select Abuja Visa Office. Mention:

  • Your UCI and Application Number
  • PPR date
  • Passport submission date
  • Current status ("under process at IRCC Abuja")

Wow, over 5 weeks and still waiting. If the Canadian PR process doesn't teach you patience and endurance, nothing will. It seems at every stage of the application process your patience is tested, many have to wait endlessly to get through the security screening stage, and there after spend several weeks and months waiting for RFV/PPR (P1 & P2, and eCoPR), as the case maybe. I didn't realize stamping of visa could take another 6 weeks again. God help me. This is my 3rd week of waiting for RFV/PPR after Final Decision update. I am truly exhausted. Indeed it seems the struggle is not over until your passport is returned stamped by VFS. Phew
