The photo requested has a required size that's mentioned in the email. Go with the instructions of the email.

Thanks for your response. IRCC provided the regular guideline which is what I used during the time I submitted my application. So my question is if the exact physical copy of the digital photo uploaded at the time of submission should be sent with the studio details and DOB@written at the back?

Please read the email, it literally has the dimension of the image along with other details. The image you used earlier would likely be of different aspect ratio/dimensions.

Your email will have something like this:

>2. Two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member. See our specifications at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

Notice the dimensions listed in it. It is important that you go through your email carefully and read everything to be sure.

The mail you received for the request should have a form attached, on which you will write your eye colour and height.
