Pgwp expiring / visitor visa valid - PR

Hi

My pgwp is expiring on may 5 but i have visitor visa till sep 2026.

I also submitted Spousal inland PR aplication.
I will be applying for open wp in this case

Question is: Will that visitor visa help, in this case anyway?

Do you mean to keep your status valid in Canada? If so, no.

Your either need to submit the OWP application or apply for a visitor record before your PGWP expires to keep your status in Canada valid.
