Saw this on Reddit and remember seeing a few other postings where the person being sponsored left the country while the application is being processed
It appears that when the person leaves the country their exit information is being passed to the IRCC , or the officer is doing a data pull on their information thus their application gets flagged . Doesn’t say how long they were out of Canada
Appears that they had been approved but the IRCC checked where the person was and subsequently got the letter
