Withdrawn Criminal Charge in Canada

Hey I am also in a similar situation need some advice.
I was charged with impaired driving in march 2024 and in august 2024 my charges were withdrawn under plea deal of careless driving and 1 year probation which include driving my car with interlock device for 1 year
So during all this i got invitation in july 2024 and my AOR was August and i did my biometrics in September 2024 after and i disclose everything to ircc while applying. So till now after biometrics i have no update from IRCc so i am confused because there are no criminal charges but my fingerprint amd photograph will be kept by police till my probation ends only after that they will destroy records
So is this could be the reason for no update in my cec application
Because i thought my criminal charges are withdrawn so my application should not be refused but there is no update neither approval or rejection

To date we are still waiting for the final decision of our PR application. Last year March, my security was under comprehensive check and my background check at the pr tracker is still in progress. So even if my charge was withdrawn and criminality is already passed, i was still subject for comprehensive security screening. Also, received ADR about the withdrawn charge and PFL about my Highway Traffic Act Conviction. I strongly suggest that you apply for gcms through ATIP to know the officer notes about your application and what is pending on your application. Lastly, for your question, If your charge could be the reason for the delay, I believe it is as it happened to me. But I hope that I am wrong and you will get your PR soon.

I already did the GCMS notes and under assessment it says

Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete
So it shows criminality in progress but i don't understand why because i already informed ircc about withdrawn charges and i updated my probation letter to ircc also which shows my charges are under Highway Traffic Act not criminal code.
I did webforms but never got any response so I am thinking maybe I have to complete my probation which ends in august 2025 maybe after that ircc will process my application.
It could be the reason why your criminality is still in progress because of the probation.
Hey can you suggest me any report or background check that I can request from RCMP so I am thinking to upload that to my CEC application therefore ircc is informed about my withdrawn criminal charges.

I was asked to provide RCMP certificate, I applied for it and received the results in about 4 weeks but charges were still listed as outstanding. I uploaded with detailed LOE. Last month, I was asked to fill out and upload 'imm5669 schedule A' form, I did that along with uploading court copy as well. However, I don't see any update on my profile thereafter. I called IRCC to enquire, they mentioned info sharing is complete, criminality is in progress, security is not started yet.
I'm afraid they gonna send it for comprehensive check.

I just submitted my police certificate from rcmp for immigration purposes. Did you submit the court documents or any documents related to your charge? If not, make sure tnat you have copies just in case the officer will ask you to submit them.
Yes I have already submitted a certified court copy which show that my charges are withdrawn.
Btw, today my background status changed from 'not applicable' to 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.'

Yes I did submit my probation order that I received from court and that too before my biometrics that was in September after the biometrics I Never received any update from Ircc It's been 7 months after my biometrics and in my gckey account biometrics status shows still shows not received but in gcms notes it showed that biometrics and medical are done.
I am thinking to resend my probation order this time with the police certificate from rcmp to Ircc so maybe it can help to move my application.
And I wanted to ask you how long does it took for removal of fingerprint records?
You can try resubmit those documents thru webform. If I remember it right, I think I received the approval of my request for the destruction of photo and fingerprints after 6 months.
