I understand that the Start-up Visa Program is prioritizing applications supported by Canadian capital or business incubators within Canada’s Tech Network. Our start-up meets these criteria, yet we have been waiting for 44 months, which seems unusually long for a priority application. Many other teams in this forum have reported even longer wait times.

What is the expected waiting time for non-prioritized applications? How long should they wait?
Officer's notes are needed here, but I believe that processing times also depend on your individual officer's efficiency as well as personal background and security procedure needed.
don't worry friend, I'm sure you'll get your heart's desire soon!

DO is not priority
No request for update medial yet.
It's curious that we weren't required to renew our medical examinations, even though they expired last November (about 5 months ago). Does anyone have insight into why this might be the case?

Yes, in my partners case, IRCC extended the medical expiry beyond the original expiry, they might have done this in your case

in my case, they sent remedical for me, my wife and my daughter, we are in India, they did not send it to my son who is in US, they just extended his medical expiry

Maybe they stopped processing for non priority for now, therefore they didn't send you anything.
Anyways this is just my assumption friend, take it with a grain of salt.

It seems that the reason your son didn't receive a re-medical request might be because he is in the US, which generally has health standards that align more closely with those of Canada. Since your family is currently in India, a country where health standards can vary, it's possible that the IRCC is taking extra precautions to ensure the health status of applicants. This might explain why the medical expiry was extended for your son while the others required re-medicals.
American and Canadian doctors are upto the same level but for an Indian physician to practice they requires additional credentials, maybe that justifies the different standards in health.

Pre-Arrival Letters are exclusively issued to applicants residing outside of Canada. These letters are not provided to individuals who are already living within Canadian borders. The purpose of Pre-Arrival Letters is to assist international applicants in preparing for their move to Canada and to provide them with important information about their upcoming immigration process. Canadian residents, being already familiar with the country and its systems, do not require this preliminary guidance, which is why they are not issued such letters.
That's the theory. But I have seen MANY specially under family class that received PAL even if they applied with the "inland" route.
In general, PAL is not a good indication of the process.

"What do you mean by 'PAL is not a good indication of the process'? It is a good indication, but it does not guarantee final approval. It indicates that you are eligible for the program you applied for."

HI
Contrary to your opinion, it should be noted that receipt of this letter means that eligibility has been passed. Also it is important to note that security is coming o_Oo_Oo_O

Hi all SUV Experts,
I called the IRCC agent last month and he told me that there is a "Bring forward day" noted by the officer in my file (03-05-2025). I have asked "google" and learned that "The bring forward date is the estimated date when your application will be assigned to an immigration officer for review"
Just expect to know if somebody already got and had any experiences with the "Bring Forward Day" such as what you got & happened on your "Bring Forward Day"?
Your shared information would be appreciated very much!
Thanks
Hali
